REPORTED
What a reporter states. Preserve the original account; it is not independently established.
OBSERVED
What can be directly identified in available evidence. A light in a video does not establish its origin.
EXTERNALLY VERIFIED
A fact supported by a documented external source, retrieval time, and relevant coverage.
INFERRED
A reasoned interpretation of evidence, accompanied by assumptions and limits.
HYPOTHESIS
An explanation proposed for investigation. It is not a conclusion.
UNKNOWN
Information the available evidence cannot establish. Unresolved does not imply extraterrestrial origin.
